Helping tech employees find their authentic voice

With a philosophy espoused by our Chief Learning Officer, Jesse Abing, Lingo Live is committed to helping tech employees find their authentic voice in the workplace. And we are SO excited that others are just as committed!

Lingo Live has raised $5.2 million in Series A funding!

The round is being lead by Owl Ventures, with participation from existing investors Alpine Meridian Ventures, Fresco Capital, and Entrepreneurs Expansion Fund.

We’re Committed to Helping Tech Employees

As our founder and CEO Tyler Muse explains, “Technology companies are increasingly diversifying their workforce through international expansion and the limited supply of engineers here in the US has them bringing in non-native English speaking engineers from abroad. As a result, they accumulate a linguistic debt that hampers productivity, innovation, and talent retention. We provide an alternative to expensive and inconvenient on site coaching by pairing these employees with a live coach who teaches them the communication skills they need to move up in their career.”

Our communication coaching program empowers engineers: we help them advance their careers. In the process, we also help managers and L&D drive engagement, performance and retention. We create impact within weeks and improvement year over year. Our coaches tailor their lessons to their learners’ goals and encourage them to practice in the real world from the get-go. As a result, learners gain confidence and master new communication skills at a rapid pace.

We’re excited to see our company continue to help non-native tech employees find their authentic voices and be heard in the workplace.
